“Educating people about historical experiences, people, and cultures that they typically do not encounter is near and dear to my heart. And since we offer all our tours and programming at no charge, we are able to reach people who otherwise may not have this kind of opportunity.”
– Amanda Gibson, Education Coordinator, Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center

Requesting Tours
The Center provides guided tours to approximately 3,000 guests each year. Many of these tours come from schools and community organizations, but we also provide tours for any other interested groups in, or traveling through, the area. Please use our Tour Request Form to request a date and time for your tour group. We welcome self-guided tours as well, but ask that you please still use the form to ensure we have the staff and resources available to accommodate you.
Schedule a virtual tour
The Center is capable of providing virtual tours upon request. Please contact Education Coordinator, Amanda Gibson, to set up your virtual tour by calling 712-224-5242 – or email lcuser@siouxcitylcic.com.
